FC Lausanne-Sport has signed experienced coach Luka Elsner, who will take over from Peter Zeidler. The 43-year-old Slovenian has signed a contract until 2028. Elsner has previously worked in Slovenia, Cyprus, Belgium and France, and has achieved success with Le Havre AC, leading them to promotion to the Ligue 1. He has also coached Stade Reims. Elsner is known for his ability to build stable defensive structures, develop young players and form teams as a unit. He will be supported by Dejan Kopasic, who will join the first team staff as an assistant coach. Kopasic has previously worked with Elsner at NK Olimpija, Pafos FC and KS Cracovia.
