Liga Classic against FC Courtételle. This is not in line with the SFL's fair play concept and the responsibility of a professional club. The SFL had no pleasure in the approach. Accordingly, the SFL expressed clear criticism: «That the U21 team of the club does not participate in a championship game of the 1. Liga Classic because numerous young players are used in the championship game of the Brack Super League against FC Lausanne-Sport, is not in line with the fair play concept and the responsibility of a professional club,» the Communiqué states. The sporting freedom in team planning should not lead to «another team of the same club not being able to participate in a scheduled championship game». The SFL considers GC's actions as «unsporting». Especially problematic: Courtételle is in the middle of the promotion campaign. The league reacts not only with words, but also with actions to the story: At the extraordinary general meeting on May 18, plans are being made to amend the regulation accordingly. In the future, such offenses will be sanctioned with disciplinary measures.
